Getting handier with the sewing machine

Well since I have nothing else to blog about and I am sort of proud of how this turned out, here is a costume I made for Bruiser.





I dyed the sweats but made the rest. I had no pattern or guide, just a picture in my head of how I wanted it to turn out. Honesty, I really like it.
Can anyone guess what he is?

    Looks pretty darn good to me! I like that you (nick?) named your kid Bruiser. Think I am going to call one of my children Blanket.

    Blanket, ha ha ha, that makes me giggle. Yeah we call him Bruiser because he is a mass of scars. He plays hard. And I don't like using the boys' real names online.

    Is he a platypus? If not, it sure the heck looks like one! Do kids dress up as platypuses for Halloween?

    Ditchthegrid, you are right! He is Perry the Platypus to be exact. Unless you watch the disney channel as much as I do, that means nothing to you. Most people think its a duck costume.

    Yay! I got it right! I don't own a TV, nor do I have kids - so you must have done good for me to guess it right off the bat! He's too cute. The costume is great.
