What's in a name?

This is mine. It's heavy as hell and dead accurate. I want to name it. I am thinking something along the lines of Brutus. I want something manly and strong. Most men name their guns and trucks after women. So I think it is only fair that I name my gun after a man. What do you think?

  1. You don't mention caliber. You could get away with Brutus on a 7.62 or .458. If you have a 5.56, I'm thinking not so much. Since it appears to be set up as a varminter, you could go Biblical with Esau or mythical with Orion. Both fabled hunters.

  3. My cousin also suggested THE DUKE,and I really like that one. It's loud enough to be called Thor. I am also intrigued with the idea of a biblical or mythical hunting name. It is an AR-15 .223 caliber. This is why I am not afraid to sleep alone at night when Hubby works nights :) It would make anyone think twice about staying in my home uninvited for more than just a few seconds.

  4. I forgot to mention, it IS a varmint gun, I use it to hunt coyotes.

We love comments! We are happy to answer questions, join in debate and conversation, or just say hi. All we ask is for respect. Respect us and others. Keep it civil. Obviously we aren't afraid of cussing but we don't like anyone degraded or invalidated.

We also know we make mistakes. Feel free to call us out. You can't improve things that need it if you aren't aware of it.

If you have an opinion share it but know if it is going to cause hurt to someone we care about we will not approve it.

Most of all have fun!!
