Garden is producing
So we have been eating radishes we grew in our garden for a while now. Tonight I will fix some swiss chard and a salad with our lettuce. The carrots are coming up quickly, the Jerusalem artichokes are doing very well. I am going to have cucumbers coming out of my ears, but my zucchini and summer squash are still just thinking about coming up. The tomatoes are hit and miss but the corn is 2 inches tall. My peppers and onions are coming around (they were transplanted) but the cantaloupe and watermelon are a total loss. The peas and beans are in the ground so all I have to do is replace the cantaloupe and watermelon. This is shaping up to be a very good garden.

We love comments! We are happy to answer questions, join in debate and conversation, or just say hi. All we ask is for respect. Respect us and others. Keep it civil. Obviously we aren't afraid of cussing but we don't like anyone degraded or invalidated.
We also know we make mistakes. Feel free to call us out. You can't improve things that need it if you aren't aware of it.
If you have an opinion share it but know if it is going to cause hurt to someone we care about we will not approve it.
Most of all have fun!!

You are doing great with the garden! All that good food, and you grew it yourself. I'm envious.
ReplyDeleteI am envious too!! Next year I think I might do a few raised beds. A few neighbors have had some luck even in our heat!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty stoked! This is the first sucessful garden Hubby and I have ever raised. It is very rewarding to be able to walk out the back door and gather dinner.
