Dear Monday
Dear Monday, It's just not working out between us, I'm breaking up with you. I'll leave your things on the doorstep. I'm sorry, I just can't keep living a lie. -Gracie. P.S. I changed the locks as well

We love comments! We are happy to answer questions, join in debate and conversation, or just say hi. All we ask is for respect. Respect us and others. Keep it civil. Obviously we aren't afraid of cussing but we don't like anyone degraded or invalidated.
We also know we make mistakes. Feel free to call us out. You can't improve things that need it if you aren't aware of it.
If you have an opinion share it but know if it is going to cause hurt to someone we care about we will not approve it.
Most of all have fun!!

Dear Gracie,
ReplyDeleteSo that's it? Ok.
I have picked up my stuff and am going to sell it all along with my car and buy a ticket to Hawaii.
I was on www.craigslist.org and I should have enough to buy a bike on Maui, cover 6 months of renting a bedroom in a shared house not far from the beach, buy a mask-fins-snorkel-speargun and there are a lot of jobs that I'm qualified to do.
So I'm out of here and on my way to paradise with enough to cover 6 months of seeing if they can appreciate Monday!
It's been fun,
Sincerely,
Monday
Dear Monday,
ReplyDeleteIf you are looking for someplace tropical, why don't you give Cancun a try? Airfare is great right now and I hear the locals are full of excitement!
Sincerly,
Gracie
Dear Gracie,
ReplyDeleteMexico? I'd have to get a passport and with my stuff gone from the porch to e-bay and my car on craigslist I just don't have the time. Passports take the State Department forever and they do speak English in Hawaii.
Paradise is calling, I'm afraid it's Maui.
It's been fun Gracie.
Bye.
Monday
Well good luck to you Monday, I hope you find someone who can appreciate you like I never could. Especially in Hawaii where everyday is FRIDAY!!!
ReplyDeleteGracie,
ReplyDeleteMonday is a grace in our lives. This is the time to return, refreshed, to again take on the responsibilities and rewards of service.
This is the day that makes Friday bearable, knowing that Monday is only a couple of days away.
Happy Monday!
Sounds like someone's got a case of the Monday's.d
ReplyDeleteTOR, everytime I hear that all I hear in my head is the lady from Office Space "just a moment"
